Sleep Mums Loves
There is so much STUFF you feel you need to get when you’re expecting or have a new baby. Partly because everything looks so damn cute and, maybe a little bit, because we’re sold the idea that having this one thing will somehow, magically, make us a better parent. We know it’s not true… but then one-click middle-of-the-night ordering happens.
Here are some products that we as mums (and Sarah who has worked with thousands of new parents) have loved, not just when they arrived but throughout their babyhoods and beyond. In fact, we’d go as far as saying we loved them. Now, that’s commitment.
These are not ADS, they are just products that we sleep mums swear by…

Snooze Shade
Snooze Shade is the only sleep safe, UVA blocking, blackout shade for buggies that will help babies (and parents) nail naps on the go.

Waterwipes
Cotton wool and water is generally best in the early days for baby and you know we love reusables. However, for those out and about trips or pure convenience, WaterWipes are fantastic. They’re made with 99.9% purified water and are now biodegradable.
I actually stopped buying them for a while until they became biodegradable because you’re so aware of the choices you make, not just affecting your baby’s (bum) but their future too.
Also, apologies if this is overshare but I, er, am also quite into using them! They were a godsend post-birth because those first pees were brutal and I’ve sort of not looked back (or down!) since.

Haakaa Pump
Sarah recommended I try the Haakaa when my son was born. This clever little sucker uses your own let down and suction to draw the milk from you. It also means it’s (largely) hands-free. You pop it on one side when you’re feeding with the other, it collects what often gets lost through your tee or on a pad. It’s not just a milk collector though, it works with you and your baby. It’s a great value, practical, easy to use product; exactly what tired parents and The Sleep Mums Love! 💛

Uppa Baby Vista
I remember going to buy a pram pregnant with my daughter and bursting into tears as I struggled to open our close my fifth travel system. Then my hands fell on the Uppa Baby Vista, I could actually do the things you were meant to do with a, like take bits on and off and not get your finger trapped. It was pretty but it could also turn! I felt like I’d swiped right and matched with my perfect buggy. We 💛

Baby Bjorn Bouncer
Is without doubt one of the most versatile bouncy chairs on the market, giving hours of bouncy fun. It’s addictive for adults too, I used to find myself bouncing it gently long after the kids were in bed! I think it's so much better for early weaning than any high chair too. It's also ideal for refluxy babies because of the different settings.

Ergo Baby
I carried my son in our Ergo Baby Sport from when he was born until he was two, it literally felt like a part of me; so comfortable and secure. My son loved it too (in fact he hated going in anything else). And remains a fan... for his dinosaurs! Have a look @theseepmums on Facebook or Instagram for pics! We 💛

Elvie
There was a point in time where I was pumping about 10 times a day. The thought of the sound of the hospital grade pump I used still makes me clench my jaw. Burr, Burr, Burr.
The new(ish) Elvie pump is a total game changer. Not only is it stylish so it does’;t feel quite so industrial, but it’s discreet; you can just pop it in your bra - no more being tied to a plugged in machine with the TV remote just out of reach. In some ways it’s like the difference between a fax machine and a mobile phone! We 💛

Lucky Cloud Super Balm
Newborn skin can be sensitive, dry and sometimes sore, through cradle cap and nappy rash. And, whilst their cheeks are always kissable to you, there are things you can do and products that will help make their skin softer and more healthy. Especially during the winter months.
Sarah discovered this lovely little pot of natural magic that works like a charm on little peoples bums! It’s natural, vegan and smells almost as good as a newborn’s and clears up redness in no time.

Yummikeys
I’d often find my son with my keys in his mouth (and occasionally in the bin!) I panicked, I didn’t want him chewing on my grubby, bottom-of-the-change-bag keys. Then I discovered Yummikeys sensory toys. Not only are they really beautifully made, they’re eco friendly and durable. We 💛

The Elfonauts
Every Christmas Eve I gift my little people a book, which we then snuggle up in our festive jammies in front of the fire to read before bed. Last year, I was so proud to be able to read Cat’s beautiful kids book for this tradition.
This year, she has donated copies of her book to a charity that supports babies living in poverty. They are gifting people with the book to say thank you for a donation to their crowdfunder. I 💛 Sarah x

Morrck
I could never work out how to get coats on my babies. For them sleeves were the absolute worst. So this genius hooded baby blanket saved my sanity and kept them cosy throughout their babyhoods.

Cheeky Wipes
I'd never done so much wiping until I had kids and I didn't like how many wipes we went through so I looked for an alternative. And Cheeky Wipes wipe the floor copared to others! They're soft, colourful and wash well.

Snuzpod
The Snuzpod stands on its own, the top can be taken off and moved, plus, it works as an attachment to your bed: so you can be close to your baby at night (which helps with wake ups!) Just like parents, it totally has the juggle down!

Ewan the Dream Sheep
This guy was the soundtrack to my daughters first year and 5 years later she still listens to the harp music before sleep. Different kids will become attached to different comforts but this one was a hit with mine. We 💛

Aden and Anais
These beautiful muslins make swaddling easy as they have give. They grow with baby and really last as they wash well. Sarah still uses the first one she bought... nine years later! We 💛

Child's Farm
My son has sensitive skin and Child's Farm products are the only ones that don't make it worse. They smell good too, I still sniff his head like a newborn (only now it has a whiff of sweet orange!) We 💛

Cheeky Chompers
We love a mutifunctional baby product and the Cheeky Chomper bibs are a bit like a Swiss army knife: super cute dribble bib AND a chewable toy that baby never loses! We 💛

Silverette Nipple Cups
These may look bit Fifty Shades but these genius little silver cups saved my shredded nipples in a few hours. Plus, you get to feel like Madonna circa 1992. We 💛

Snooze by Eilidh Muldoon
This beautifully illustrated book is like The Sleep Mums podcast for babies. It's a lovely bedtime story that will definitely help lead your little to the land of nod. We 💛
